You asked me if I had ever done
anything irrational
As I said "No" you told me to close
my eyes
Then you kissed me
From that moment on I knew you
would forever be a part of me

After a while that was all I was
to you
A momentary irrational
You told me you didn't need me
No rock or life jacket

Unfortunately, you will forever be
a part of me
Broken hearted and defeated
I will never walk away from you

When your heart breaks, I will
stand by you again
You silently promised me forever that night
and forever I will stand
